Be More Social.

Get out and make friends, or just go be friendly with the friends you already have. At Social Eatery & Bar, that’s the idea.

It’s the perfect spot for date night or an after-meeting cocktail, with two bars – indoors and out. When the weather cools down, grab a seat around the outdoor fire pit and a handcrafted cocktail.

Eat. farm fresh

The food here is farm fresh and ever rotating. Think wood-fired pizzas, pasta and sharing plates perfect for a girls’ night out. General Manager Nicole says the Pretzel Dusted Calamari is “hands down a must try during your visit … the freshest calamari in Sarasota.” They’re also known for the Chicken Parmesan Meatballs. (Two of our favorite things.)

Drink. craft

There’s a craft cocktail for every palate. Social doesn’t use a soda gun or mixers, but rather Mexican soda drinks because the sugars are all natural. All liquors are also as natural as they come, using only small-batched varieties to create truly unique drinks that make you feel warm and fuzzy and extra sociable. For instance, they use 44 North Vodka rather than Tito’s because the former utilizes Idaho’s great agricultural wealth to produce the purest (gluten free) potato vodkas. They also try to buy local whenever possible, as evidenced by the ample supply of Siesta Key Rum, made right down the street.

Be. social

‘Social Hour’ is Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. The restaurant and bar offers many opportunities for socializing that change monthly, from wine dinners to small plate dinners, and local brewery beer tastings with food pairings.
